Wash the rice well a few times ~

Cooking rice We have the pressure cookers. But often people have a doubt about the quantity water to be added. For white rice it is generally  two and a half  to three times the volume of rice  depending upon the type of rice. For boiled rice more water will be needed three to three and a half times the volume of rice . One learns from experience !

If there is excess water one may drain it.

A pinch of saffron with the rice will elevate its flavour !

 

Use the pressure cooker judiciously !
