I first read my copies of “Scrap bits” and “Kalki” almost two years ago finding them a complex and fierce testament to the divine, stimulating the recognition of how deeply the questions of religion, science, philosophy, art and many other fields relates to all sincere thinkers in our times.

What I have realized is that in order to read them well and to move beyond their paradoxical and oftentimes confrontational nature one needs to approach them with an unbiased attitude and a focused attention on ones inner responses to the ideas presented there. I found the view they represent of the cosmos and the myriad worlds of perceptions I found myself contemplating seemed at first at once both uncompromising and at the same time full of beauty. I also saw that the scope of this view is born a mind functioning far beyond the empirical modes of thought we use to function in our everyday lives. But this need not stop one from testing and finally assimilating the insights gleaned from a sincere and humble reading.

I found this aphoristic voice to be fiercely outspoken but recognized it to be born of an absolute necessity to break down the too long accepted inertia that is the direct result of a non acceptance of personal responsibility in the outer events of the world and an acceptance of the constructs of a feeble ego. Pseudo-intellectuality and the seeming power that manipulates the mass purely for its own gain has caused such a rift between us and the divine in ourselves. This, becoming reflected in the world we experience, renders us numb and blind to our own responsibility in life: a life vastly greater and more immanent than most of us care or even want to acknowledge out of fear of the enormity of the part we have each one of us played in our own demise, both as individuals and as part of the collective.

Far from being a final statement of doom I have found that these books contain possibly the greatest and most profound message of hope we have had the privilege of receiving in our times. I for one hail what is contained between the lines therein as the most powerful confirmation that the long awaited change in consciousness we have all been calling for is most definitely making its presence known.

May the light of the Maitreya bless us all.

Aum.
