A  few random seconds

we chanced together

snatched with each other

sheepishly smiled

always wondered

“What would be?”

around us the cosmos

softened, dissolved~

delicious obliviousness~

we were always waiting

waiting slyly.

Ageless breath fills the void~

your nosestud gleams

in the centre of gyrating

galaxies~

I reach out all the way

all personal metaphorical

flagella~ feel feel feel

the tender tentacles

the moist touch~

Your nose, your mouth

my ageless wonder~

What? even you respire

like mammals perspire

like pinkpanthers

chew plantains

like chimpanzees~

No, unscathed by

the caricature of physiology by

the mutilations of familiarity

I retain you as an ideal, a quality~

a distant halo sprawled in the

memory,

a pure odourless essence

clad in green

a soft breathing nascence

cast in stone

a smiling radiance.
